Covenant Home Care’s Homemakers
Covenant Home Care has homemakers for our home care clients. Sometimes referred to as housekeepers, these homemakers can provide more personal and home care than family and friends can provide at times.
Sometimes
providing care for short terms, like right after discharge from a hospital,
these homemakers provide general housekeeping, and work to keep the home
environment clean & healthy. This may include:
- Housekeeping, including vacuuming, dusting, and mopping floors
- Laundry
- Changing bed linens
- Meal planning in accordance to dietary needs
- Food shopping
- Cooking
Homemaking supervision could entail instruction to clients and family members on things such as nutrition and cleanliness. Homemakers are also just there to just listen to clients talk about their problems and offer some companionship.
Homemakers keep strict records of services performed, and their clients’ environment and progress. Covenant Home Care’s homemaking supervisors assign specific duties and periodically review the services received by the client and what changes may need to be made for your care.
