Covenant Home Care is Class A Minnesota Licensed and Medicare Certified to provide home health care services
According
to Minnesota state law, an HHA (home health agency) must be licensed by
the state of Minnesota to provide home health care. Covenant Home Care
has a Class A, or professional home health care agency license. Under
this license, a provider may provide all home care services in a place
of residence, including a residential center, at least one of which is
nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, nutritional services,
home health aide tasks, or the provision of medical supplies and equipment
when accompanied by the provision of a home care service.
Medicare requires that home health care must be administered through a Medicare-certified home health agency, to receive Medicare benefits for that care. Covenant Home Care is fully Medicare-certified to provide home health care for medical patients.
